          Pallavi Barua Foundation is pleased to announce the results of the “Children’s on the spot story writing competition” held on May 19, 2018 (Saturday) at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Guwahati. Children from class-V to class-VIII were eligible to participate in the competition. The participants were allowed to write  in either English or Assamese as per their choice.

The winner of the 1st prize is Sangsthita Sharma, a student of Class-VII from Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati. The 2nd prize is jointly bagged by Jahnavi Devi, a student of Class-VIII from Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri and Ishanika Kashyap, a student of Class-VII from Maria’s Public School. Adrita Kalita, a Class-VI student from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Guwahati secured the 3rd prize. A consolation prize has been awarded to Yashvi Khemani, a Class: VII student from Holy Child School, Guwahati. The foundation congratulates all the winners.

The winners were awarded with a certificate, a trophy  and a gift packet at the prize distribution ceremony held on the 4th of July, 2018 at 4.00 PM in the meeting of All Assam Lekhika Samaroh Samiti, Guwahati Branch at Siddhinath Sharma Bhavan, Near District Library, Guwahati, Assam.
