Few precious moments from the Student's on the spot story writing competition, 2018 organized by Pallavi Barua Foundation

Pallavi Barua Foundation was established in 2014 in loving memory of Pallavi Barua.

About Pallavi Barua:

Pallavi Barua was the elder daughter of Dr. S. P. Barua and Mrs. Juna Barua, Guwahati, Assam. Born on 12th August, 1983, at a young age of 24, she received huge applause from some of the critics from Assam for her work “Grandma’s Tales”, which was the English translated version of the “Burhi Aair Sadhu”, a kid’s story book by none other than the renowned ‘Sahityarathi’ ‘Rasaraaj’ Lakshminath Bezbarua.

It’s also note worthy that her ‘Grandma’s Tales’ was selected for Frankfurt Book Fair and is going to be translated to German. Tragically she left us all on 27th May, 2013.
